Korea Association of Game Industry(hereafter “K-GAMES”) takes the privacy and protection of your personal information very seriously. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with you. G-STAR collects personal information in order to provide you with our services. We collect information you give us, and information we get from your use of our services.
We collect information you give us, for example, when you create an account with us and register to our events as exhibitors, visitors, press, etc. The information collected includes (but is not limited to) your name, company name, email, and phone number.
We process your personal information for account administration, to deliver the services you require, and to inform you of G-STAR contents such as event.
We may contact you by any means of communication for which you have given us contact details and authorised including e-mail, telephone.
When you don’t sign in for more than 12 months, that account gets classified as an inactive account. If you don’t any sign in for another 12months, it will be deleted.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information to anyone and do not otherwise reveal your personal data to third-parties for their independent use unless (1) you request or authorize it, for instance by registering to G-STAR or giving permission to exhibitors and visitors to scan your attendee badge; (2) it’s in connection with G-STAR events; (3) the information is provided to comply with the law, enforce an agreement we have with you, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; (4) or the information is provided to our agents, or service providers who perform functions on our behalf.
Security
We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We have implemented appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information.
