Song Kyung-Won is a journalist and film critic at Cine21, a weekly film magazine. 

He made his debut as a film critic in 2009 after winning the Cine21 Film Criticism Award and completed the doctoral coursework in Film Theory at Dongguk University’s 

Graduate School of Film in 2012.

He joined Cine21 as a staff reporter in 2012 and has served as its editor-in-chief since 2023.

He co-authored 『프로듀서』(2019), 『마음의 일렁임은 우리 안에 머물고』(2021), and authored 『이충호―만화웹툰작가평론선』(2019), 『얼룩이 번져 영화가 되었습니다』(2024).

He also appears on Blossom Studio’s YouTube channel 'Moviessom' and Kim Hye-ri's podcast 'A Quiet Life.'

In addition to film, he critiques a wide range of visual and cultural arts, including games and animation.
