Kim Seong Hoon, General Manager of Digital Content at CINE21, has been working as a film journalist since 2008, delving deeply into various issues within the Korean film industry.
Since 2022, he has led the Digital Content Division, overseeing the planning and production of diverse projects including branded content, Masters Talk, Talk Room, social media campaigns, web-based reports, and investigative digital journalism.
During his years as a reporter - when the Korean film industry was experiencing rapid quantitative growth - he focused primarily on covering film industry trends and policy-related topics.
Today, his interests lie in developing and expanding on and offline content that bridges audiences with cinema, exploring new business models for film-based media.
He is also the author of Architects of Light: Recording the Cinematographers Hong Kyung-pyo and Chung Chung-hoon, a book that offers an in-depth look into the artistic worlds of two of Korea’s most renowned cinematographers.
