His latest film, Good News - a black comedy inspired by the real-life 1970s Yodo-go Hijacking Incident - reached No. 1 in Netflix Korea’s content rankings and drew international attention.
The film was officially invited to the 50th Toronto International Film Festival and the 30th Busan International Film Festival in the Gala Presentation section.
